FILMED PROCEDURES

Your company's knowledge is in two heads. The day one leaves, it goes with them.

Nobody opens the procedure binder. A three-minute video, yes.

A filmed procedure is a capsule of two to five minutes that shows how your company actually performs a task: quote, order, closing. We film what gets lost when the person who knows leaves, we store the videos where your team can find them, and we keep them up-to-date. The diagnosis is free of charge.

What happens when the person who knows leaves

In almost all SMEs, one or two people know how things really work. This knowledge is not written down anywhere: it is passed on over a shoulder, if at all.

Three ways to pass on a skill. Only one shows your company as it operates.

What we film and what we don't

The selection is made before the first recording: a library that's too large becomes unmanageable.

And never on screen: personal data, salaries, case files, passwords. We record on a test run or mask the information.

A capsule, a task

We don't watch it during training. We watch it at the workplace, at the moment when we don't know what to do and were about to bother a colleague.

The screen, the mouse that shows, a voice that explains why, subtitles for the noisy workshop, and a visible date: we know right away if it's still relevant.

How it's made

We record while a collaborator actually performs the task once. We cut, comment, title. The person filmed validates before publication.

What costs is no longer the camera: capture tools are rented by subscription, between 18 and 50 dollars per creator and per month according to their publishers. The value lies in knowing which ten tasks to film first.

Where are the videos stored and who can see them?

A video showing your screens demonstrates how you work. It stays with you, never on a public platform, and access is granted person by person.

The recordings, edits and texts belong to you in open formats. If you stop working with us, nothing is retained.

Why a video library dies, and how to prevent it

Without maintenance, a video library becomes a graveyard in less than two years. Three things are enough.

THE LIBRARY IS ALIVEA NAME ALWAYS BUILT THE SAME WAYONE RESPONSIBLE PERSON, NAMEDWITHOUT A NAME, NO ONEREPORTS WHAT IS WRONGA REGULAR REVIEWWE REDO WHAT HAS CHANGED,CHEAPER THAN THE FIRST TIMEDOMAIN · TASK · DATE: WE FIND A PROCEDURE IN TWO WORDS

Redoing costs less than producing: the cutting and text already exist; only the screens change.

What you get, and how it's billed

1. Process selection

The list of candidate tasks, ranked by real urgency, with the reason for each line. This document belongs to you even if you stop there.

2. Capsule production

A fixed price per capsule, known before recording. You receive the video, its text and the source file. We start with a small number of frequent tasks.

3. Maintenance

Monthly support without commitment: review, corrections, new capsules as your business evolves. The library remains yours.

A benchmark for comparison

A classroom course is paid for each time it takes place; for example, Crésus editor bills its on-site courses at 180 francs per hour excluding VAT, plus travel expenses, according to its public list. A capsule is produced once and can be watched as many times as needed. Market benchmark, not our prices.

What your team knows how to do is worth more than your software. Film it before they leave.

Frequently Asked Questions

What we are asked

Should we film our employees themselves?

No. We film the screen and the gesture, with a voice. Nobody appears on the image: nothing to redo when someone leaves, and most of the reluctance falls away.

Will our teams accept it?

We explain beforehand: the object filmed is the task, not the person; this does not evaluate anyone; the person filmed validates before publication. Often, they are the ones who ask for more because they are the ones answering the same questions today.

How many capsules to start with?

Few. The most frequent or fragile tasks first, you decide, the following ones choose themselves with use.

What if we change software?

The capsules that show screens become outdated, it must be said. The breakdown of tasks, however, remains valid, and that is the longest part. Refilming costs less than the first recording.

Can we produce the capsules ourselves afterwards?

Yes, and this is often a good follow-up. We train one or two people on the tool and the method, and we remain available for review.

Let's start with the list of what should be filmed

The diagnosis is offered. We look at how your team works today and identify the tasks whose knowledge depends on only one person.
